Dose per Fraction Calculator

Fill in any two of total dose, number of fractions and dose per fraction, and the third is calculated. Add the fractions already given to see what has been delivered and what remains.

      How it works

Total dose = fractions × dose per fraction
Delivered = fractions given × dose per fraction   Remaining = (fractions − fractions given) × dose per fraction

Plain arithmetic for a schedule with the same dose every fraction. For a course with more than one phase or a boost, work out each phase separately. To compare schedules with different doses per fraction, use the BED / EQD2 Calculator — physical totals alone do not reflect the effect of fraction size.
